林麝应激生理状态与消化道球虫感染程度关系

摘要:
为探索慢性应激与圈养林麝球虫感染之间的相关性,采用饱和盐水漂浮法对四川九药林麝繁育中心采集的粪便样本中的寄生虫卵进行检测,用麦克马斯特计数法对虫卵进行计数,应用酶联免疫吸附法测定粪便皮质醇代谢水平,并基于广义线性模型分析年龄、参配对粪便皮质醇代谢水平的影响,以及年龄、参配及粪便皮质醇代谢水平与球虫感染强度之间的关系。结果表明:年龄和参配的交互作用对粪便皮质醇代谢水平影响显著,3岁龄参配个体粪便皮质醇代谢水平显著低于6岁龄参配个体,其余3组间差异不显著。宿主年龄和参配对球虫感染强度无影响,但粪便皮质醇代谢水平对球虫感染强度影响极显著(GLMs, P < 0.01)。粪便皮质醇代谢水平和球虫感染强度呈极显著负相关(R = - 0.502, P < 0.01),3个浓度组之间球虫感染强度差异极显著(P < 0.01)。慢性应激会增加林麝寄生虫易感性,应激强度与寄生虫感染强度呈显著正相关关系。建议麝场不要选取3岁龄个体作为种麝,并减少人为刺激或扩大每个林麝个体的活动空间来降低林麝的应激反应,加强林麝的健康管护。

Relationship between stress state and infection intensity of coccidian in musk deer (Moschus berezovskii)

Abstract:
To study the effect of chronic stress on the infection intensity of coccidia in the intestinal tract of musk deer, the parasite eggs in fecal samples collected from Sichuan Jiuyao musk deer breeding center were detected by saturated saline floating method. The parasite eggs were counted by McMaster Counting method, and the fecal cortisol concentration was determined by Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay. The Generalized Linear model was used to analyze the influence of age and mating on fecal cortisol concentration and coccidial infection intensity. The results showed that: the interaction of age and mating had a significant effect on fecal cortisol level. The fecal cortisol level of 3-year-old individuals was significantly lower than that of 6-year-old individuals, and there was no significant difference among the other three groups. The age and mating had no effect on the coccidian infection intensity, while the fecal cortisol level had significant effect on the coccidian infection intensity (GLMs, P < 0.01). There was a significant negative correlation between fecal cortisol level and coccidian infection intensity (R = - 0.502, P < 0.01), and there was a significant difference among the three groups (P < 0.01). The results suggested that: the chronic stress can increase the parasite susceptibility of musk deer, and there is a significant positive correlation between stress level and parasite infection intensity; 3-year-old individuals are suggested not to be selected as stud musk deer by the musk deer breeding centers and avoid human stimulation or expanding the activity space of each individual, so as to relieve the stress of musk deer, and more attention should be paid to the health management of musk deer.
