栽培型与野生型辣椒HAK/KUP/KT基因家族的进化分析

摘要:
HAK/KUP/KT家族是一类重要的钾转运蛋白家族。利用生物信息学手段对栽培型及墨西哥野生型辣椒全基因组范围内的HAK/KUP/KT基因成员进行鉴定及分析,比较两者在数目、复制类型及组织表达模式等方面的差异。发现2种辣椒中HAK/KUP/KT家族成员分别为24和22个,且在染色体上呈不均衡分布。基因复制类型分析发现,HAK/KUP/KT家族成员中存在片段重复和串联重复,且纯化选择是该家族进化的主要动力。组织表达分析显示,辣椒HAK/KUP/KT基因间的表达模式存在差异,暗示辣椒HAK/KUP/KT家族成员在功能上的多样性,并为后续发掘有益的钾转运基因提供了重要的理论依据。

Evolutionary analysis of HAK/KUP/KT gene family in cultivated and wild peppers

Abstract:
The HAK/KUP/KT gene family members are important potassium transporters. In the present study, bioinformatics methods were utilized to genome-widely identify and analysis HAK/KUP/KT gene members in one cultivated and wild peppers (Capsicum annuum, C.annuum), with copy number comparison, duplication modes estimation and tissue-specific analysis. As a result, 24 and 22 HAK/KUP/KT genes were identified in the cultivated (C. annuum cv. Zunla-1) and Mexico wild (C. annuum var. glabriusculum) peppers, respectively, both unevenly distributed in the chromosomes. Duplication modes detection showed that segment and tandem repeat duplication could be found in the HAK/KUP/KT family. Furthermore, these duplicated gene pairs suffered purifying selection. Finally, expression profile analysis exhibited that gene expression patterns of HAK/KUP/KT members were different in peppers, which strongly implied their functional diversity. The above results may provide an important theoretical basis for exploring the beneficial potassium transfer proteins in peppers.
