| Progenies of outbreeding between domestic silkworm and wild silkorm were observed. Theresults showed that cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon shell ratio, filament length andsize of F_1 were similar to those of their wild parent, the characters of BC_1 took after those of thedomestic silkworm parent, and those of F_2 were between those of parents, the general trend waswild silkworm
