In order to give full play to the ecological functions of the urban green space system in Suzhou city, the quality of the urban green space system in Suzhou city was explored. Taking the built-up area of Suzhou city in Anhui Province as an example, the evaluation system was constructed by combining the spatial structure of urban green space with the comprehensive benefits of urban green space, and the comprehensive evaluation and social benefit assessment of the green space system in the built-up area of Suzhou city were carried out by applying the comprehensive evaluation method and the hierarchical analysis method to estimate the value of its economic and ecological benefits. The results show that the value of the comprehensive evaluation of the green space system in the built-up area of Suzhou city is 0.665, indicating that the overall level of the construction of the green space system in the built-up area of Suzhou city is at level II. In terms of the comprehensive evaluation value, the quantitative planning > social benefits > landscape pattern > economic benefits > ecological benefits, indicating that the quantitative planning of the built-up area plays an important role in the urban green space system and that there is great potential for the greening of the built-up area. The results of the study can supplement the comprehensive evaluation system of urban green space system in Suzhou city, and provide a reference for the study of green space system enhancement in the same type of cities.
