Abstract:Chrysanthemums have a high ornamental value and are widely used in food, pharmacy, health products and cosmetics. With the continuous development of functions, the market demand for chrysanthemums has increased, and its propagation speed and seedling quality have become one of the important factors affecting the development of chrysanthemum industry. Propagation by cuttings can maintain the excellent traits of the mother plant, and the reproduction coefficient is high, which is the main propagation method for chrysanthemum seedling supply. However, cuttings have problems such as long rooting time and low number of rooting, so improving the rooting quality of chrysanthemum cuttings and shortening the rooting time are of great significance to the industrial development of chrysanthemum. In this paper, the rooting agents currently used to promote the rooting of chrysanthemum cuttings were systematically reviewed, and their future development trends were prospected, so as to provide a theoretical basis for large-scale factory seedlings breeding of chrysanthemum.
