Abstract:As a kind of linear landscape space, scenic paths are of great significance to creating excellent urban ecotourism routes and guiding the landscape planning for tourism belt recreational spaces. Recreational use suitability evaluation is an important index for evaluating urban landscape impression and tourists' recreation experience, which can guide scenic route selection. To evaluate recreational utilization suitability, five factors, including water area factor, terrain slope, green patch, tourism resources and traffic road, were selected as index factors for scenic route selection via GIS and AHP. Through qualitative analysis, quantitative evaluation, suitability and benefit research, the results of suitability evaluation of scenic path recreation utilization were used to establish an universal idea of optimal route selection for scenic paths in a tourism belt and provide case references for superior planning in the tourism space via scenic path selection in the area around Chaohu Lake and related layout analysis.
