In this paper taken the waterfront elevation of the coastal waters of Maanshan Mountain as the research object, based on the fractal theory, the coastline of the coastal waterfront of Yushan Lake was extracted and the corresponding fractal dimension was calculated. The overall level, the architectural level were taken and the plant level as research entry points, and the overall and architectural layers facing the east, south, west and north waterfront fa?ades of Yushan Lake were overall quantitatively evaluated. According to the calculated results, the fractal dimension of the West Coast skyline was high, and the reason for its high skyline was analyzed based on the nature of its land use. Then through the transformation and optimization of the plant facade, the overall fractal dimension of the west bank of the lake was adjusted to make the fractal dimension of the skyline in a reasonable range. This paper provides a theoretical basis for the shaping and optimization of the city waterfront fa?ade skyline by studying and optimizing the skyline of the Yushan Lake waterfront.
