Abstract:Traditional aquaculture pond sediments were taken as material and obtained 31 nitrite removal bacteria through isolation, a strain N-F-0117 with strong removal nitrite was screened from them. Its removal rate to 40 mg·L-1 nitrite was 92%, and 80 mg·L-1 nitrite still was 53%. The optimum initial pH rang for the strain was from 5-10, and the optimum carbon source for strain was sucrose, and the concentration of sources was greater than 2 g·L-1, and the optimum added concentration of bacteria was greater than 0.05%. It is confirmed that the strain was Flavimonas oryzihabitans by morphological analysis, physiological and biochemical experiment.
