Abstract:Liquid nitrogen, snailase, and glass beads were used to extract genomic DNA from the yeast S60 isolated from Vitis amrensis in Northeast China. The DNA quality was examined using agarose gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometer ND-2000, and PCR. The result showed that the quality of the genomic DNA extracted using snailase method was best. Liquid nitrogen method resulted in high protein content and the glass beads method obtained the lowest DNA yield.
