Abstract:In the study, the hatching of the fertilized egg of Octopus variabilis at six constant indoor temperatures was observed. Biological zero temperature, effective accumulated temperature and temperature coefficient (Q10) for the development of zygotes of?O. variabilis were calculated using formula and linear regression. The results showed that the biology zero temperature and the effective accumulated temperature for the development of zygotes of O. variabilis were 9.17℃?and 1239.94℃·d, respectively. The optimum hatching temperature range for the embryonic development was 20-26℃.
