Abstract:To develop constructed wetland in the application of aquaculture under condition of seawater and low temperature, the purification effects of Chelon haematocheilus parents in the indoor recirculating overwinter aquaculture system combined with seawater wastewater constructed wetland were investigated. The results showed that the removal rates of total Kjeldahl nitrogen, total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, turbidity, chemical oxygen demand and total phosphorous in system were 13.4%, 32.1%, 33.1%, 55.1% , 35.6%, and 34.6%, respectively. Various water quality parameters in the culture tanks were stable. Low temperature had a certain influence on the removal rate of total Kjeldahl nitrogen, total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, and nitrate nitrogen, which restricted denitrification process in the constructed wetland. Low temperature had unconspicuous influence on the removal rate of turbidity, chemical oxygen demand, and total phosphorus. Seawater constructed wetland can handle wastewater from the recirculating overwinter aquaculture system continuously, and keep water quality in the culture tanks stable. There is more potential to improve aquaculture load and hydraulic loading rate during overwinter aquaculture.
