Abstract:Dry seeds of wheat HEKE2 were radiated by 60Co γ-ray with the dose of 300 Gy, and the genetic variation of protein content, gluten content, zeleny and hardness of 234 lines were analyzed in M4 population. The contents of protein and gluten in 6 positive and 3 negative mutant lines were identified based on the selection criterion of over mean±2s. Further, their quality traits and farinogram parameters were detected, and high molecular weight glutenins(HMW-GS)were identified by SDS - PAGE in M5 generation. The result showed that the farinograph map and farinogram parameters of the mutant line 242 changed significantly, and HMW-GS composition of the parent was 2+7+8+9+12, while it was 2+7+8+9 for the mutant line 108 and 240. The obvious change of HMW-GS composition suggests that mutations of glutenin locus may be occurred in the mutant lines.
