Abstract:The parameters and kinetics of biomass, sporulation and substrate utilization were studied during Verticillium lecanii (Zimmermann) Viegas strain Ac3.4505 liquid fermentation. The results indicated that there were four phases of V.lecanii growth in the process of fermentation: lag phase, exponential phase, stationary phase and decline phase. A close correlation between the biomass and glucose consumption was detected, the kinetics of liquid sporulation quantity of V.lecanii fermentation belonged to the type of fermentation of partly associated growth.
