Abstract:The paper reported the studies on contents and distributions of stone cell and their effects on fruit quality of pear.The results indicated that there were differences on content of stone cell in fruit among varieties, and there were obviously negative relations between the content of stone cell and acid content.But there was the same character among varieties,the content of stone cell was reduced gradually from fruit core to its skin, as well as the quality of flesh near fruit skin was the best, the middle flesh was followed,and the flesh near the fruit core was worst.In addition, bagging might reduce the content of stone cell.
