According to the principles of geo-botany and systematic botany,an investigation on the distribution of Cymbidium sinense and Cymbidium sinense cv. Hui Zhou Mo was conducted in southern Anhui Province. Meanwhile,a lot of recent literatures and historical data were collected and analyzed.The results from this study showed that the natural distribution of Cymbidium sinense was not in Huizhou. However, Hui Zhou Mo was cultivated or selected historically in Huizhou, Anhui Province.
