Based on the surveying datas of 66 sample plots of Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.pubescens in Xiuning county,Anhui province,a comprehensive principle and method,which combined multi factors with a dominant factor and integrated multi class sere with gradation of class control was employed to classify the site types of P.heterocycla cv.pubescens plantation.A three class classification system in terms of some major factors, such as landform,slope direction and soil factors was proposed.Total 3 site type districts,8 sections of site type,and 22 site types were grouped in the paper.
