Ml Survival seedling rate is an important question in mutagenic breeding of cotton throughlow-energy ion- implantatlon method. Results from the present study revealed that,the survivalseed ling rate of skin- reduced seeds was found dependent upon germinating-emergencing condi-tions,and dosage of ion- implantation as well.Overthick soil cover was the main reason of lowsurvival rate.One hundred pulse treatment caused no negative effect;treatments,over1 20 resultedin a decline of survival rate;however,200 pulse treatment did not cause any record of LD50.
