Abstract:Results of a model test show the properties of soil was not obviously deteriorated if the dust accumulated in the soil is leSs than 38.0 grams per kilogram red limestone loam, and the growth of rice seedling was beneficially, promoted. Nevertheless, the growth of the crop began to be inhibited when the dust content goes up to 60.8 grams per kilogram soil. The dust which was found adhered to the leaves, no matter how much it was, was harmful to the crop at different degree.
